Save As
Save As writes an open document to local drive or cloud storage (OneDrive). If the open document was created using New, or if you opened a document and wish to save it with a new file name, or folder, you must use Save As. Save writes an open document with the same file name and folder that were used to Open it.
Save As common dialog box
The left panel shows the folders on your system and the right shows folders and files. Select the folder where you want to save your document.
File name is a list of all the documents in the selected folder of the selected type. This list changes any time that the folder or Save as type are changed. Do not type a file extension into the File name box: the proper file extension is supplied automatically. If you type an illegal file extension into the File name box, the document will not be usable. If you type the name of a document that already exists into the File name box, you will be asked whether you want to overwrite that document.
Save as type is a list of the document types supported by the program. Only the document types that are compatible with the document you are saving are listed, so it doesn't matter which type you select.
When you save a document, the folder and document type are remembered so that they appear in the Open dialog box the next time that it is used to open a document of the same type.
