Observations

Observations displays a tabular view of all observations of the selected object in the Observing Log.

Clicking in the title bar of one of the columns sorts the data by that column; clicking again in the same column toggles the sort order between ascending and descending order.

Add Observation opens a new observation in the Observation Editor.

Detailed View opens the observation in the Observation Editor with the observation locked from changes.

Edit Observation opens the selected observation in the Observation Editor. Caution! If you change the name of the object in the observation editor, you will no longer have the observation associated with the plan item. This may cause the Observed checkbox for the object in the plan to become unchecked.
