Moon Distance

Moon Dist allows you to include objects in the report that are at least a minimum distance in degrees, inclusively, away from the Moon.

Note: If the Sun is up at the ephemeris time, no objects are included in the report. Users should probably Ignore the moon distance.
Note: If the moon is down at the ephemeris time, the object is included in the report.

You must uncheck Ignore to enter a value into the Closest box. Enter a value between 1 and 180. The search result includes all objects that are further from the Moon than Closest (or the Moon is down at the ephemeris time). For example, if you want to search for objects that are 15° or more from the moon, uncheck Ignore and enter 15 into Closest.
