General

Object (User) is used to select observations of specific objects by user-preferred designation to be included in the report. You must uncheck Ignore to type into the Object (User) box. Wild card characters * and ? are allowed. For example, entering * matches observations of all objects in the observing log. See Designations & the Lookup Engine.

Object is used to select observations of specific objects by system-preferred designation to be included in the report. You must uncheck Ignore to type into the Object box. Wild card characters * and ? are allowed. For example, entering * matches observations of all objects in the observing log. See Designations & the Lookup Engine.

Observer is used to select observations made by a specific observer. You must uncheck Ignore to specify an observer. Wild card characters * and ? are allowed.

Rating is used to select observations based on the rating assigned to the observation. You must uncheck Ignore to select a range of rating values for the search.

Location Method is used to select observations based on how the object was found for observation. Select Ignore to include observations in the report regardless of how objects were found.

Unspecified is included to describe observations where this detail is unknown.

Manual describes locating an object by using mechanical setting circles or star-hopping.

GoTo describes locating an object with a GoTo mount or using direct computer control.

DSC describes locating an object with the use of digital setting circles.

Has Image Attached is used to select observations based on whether an observation has any image files associated with it or not. Select Ignore to include observations in the report regardless of whether they have images attached.

Has Media Attached is used to select observations based on whether an observation has any media files associated with it or not. Select Ignore to include observations in the report regardless of whether they have media attached.

Search/Sort Options Summary shows a summary of selections made on the other tabs.
