Report Styles
The Report Style Browser lets you create and modify stylesheets for your reports. You can maintain a collection of stylesheets, import and export stylesheets and preview a stylesheet. These capabilities allow you extensive control over the appearance of your reports.
Tool Bar
New opens a new stylesheet for editing in the right pane.
Edit opens the selected stylesheet for editing in the right pane.
Delete removes the selected stylesheet from your computer.
Import opens a stylesheet collection in the Import Report Styles dialog.
Export opens the Export Report Styles dialog which allows you to select stylesheets on your computer and copy them to a file.
Favorite selects a style for use by subsequent reports. The favorite style is shown in Favorite Style Name
Restore removes the current collection of stylesheets from your computer and restores the shipped collection.
Help opens this help topic.
Style Names Pane
Style Names contains the names of each stylesheet available on your computer. You can select a stylesheet in this list for editing, deleting or Activating.
Close closes the browser.
Style Properties Pane
Style Name is a descriptive name for the stylesheet. This is the name that appears in the Style Names listbox and may appear in the Active Style Name box.
Background appears as unused space of on-screen reports, generally to the right or bottom of the pane.
Author is optional. It helps you to distinguish your stylesheets
Line Color is used to draw the lines between cells of on-screen reports.
Headers & Footers contains the font settings, font color and cell background color used to draw the column headers and the footer of reports.
Content (Even Rows and Printouts) contains the font settings, font color and cell background color used to draw the evenly numbered report content rows of cells. You may want to make this color contrast with the Content style for Odd Rows so that you reports are easier to see on-screen. Please note that this font and font color selection are used for classical printed reports. The background color is not used on classical printed reports.
Content (Odd Rows) contains the font settings, font color and cell background color used to draw the oddly numbered report content rows of cells. You may want to make this color contrast with the Content style for Even Rows so that you reports are easier to see on-screen. This font and font color selection are not used for classical printed reports.
Save saves changes made in the Style Properties Pane. Note that this includes changes made by the New or Edit functions only.
Cancel discards changes made in the Style Properties Pane and cancels the Add or Edit function.
Additional Information
Three styles ship with Deep-Sky Planner that complement night vision mode: 'Nightvision' and 'Dsp Red' and 'Ruby Segoe'. These may improve the appearance of reports while night vision mode is enabled.
