Activation Help
Activating your license is a two-step process. First, you must request an activation code from Knightware, then you must register the code on your computer. The Software Activator (the Activator) helps with both steps of the process. Please see the privacy statement.
Important!
You may use the product for up to 30 days before activating but you are encouraged to activate at your earliest convenience so that you may use your software without interruption.
You must perform both of the following steps on the same computer!
Step 1) Using the Software Activator, enter the product key as it appears in your new owner e-mail or inside the product CD case.
The product key is your license number. You must enter your product key. Next click the Request Activation Code by E-Mail button.
A web mail form is opened in your browser that shows your product key and a computer hardware identification code. Enter a valid e-mail address to which the activation code may be returned.
Send the web mail message by clicking Send Request. The activation code is returned by e-mail within 24 hours.
Please be sure that your security software and/or spam filters will permit delivery of your activation code message from knightware.biz. Please 'whitelist' e-mails from knightware.biz if necessary.
Step 2) Once you receive the e-mail response containing your activation code, start the Software Activator again to register the code. Click the Activate Manually button. A dialog box is displayed where you can enter the activation code. It must be entered exactly as it appears in the e-mail message. The easiest way to do this is to copy the activation code text from the e-mail message and paste it into the Activation Code text box on the dialog. Click Activate. You should see a message indicating that your software license has been activated successfully.
