Using Deep-Sky Planner 8 with Redshift 8
This article describes which features in Deep-Sky Planner 8 are supported with Redshift 8 Premium on Windows.
- Redshift 8 Premium Edition is required for the Show Chart interoperation feature to work in Deep-Sky Planner 8.
- Redshift 8 is started automatically if needed when you select Show Chart in Deep-Sky Planner.
- The Change Field of View feature works with RedShift 8. Configure this feature in Options | Star Chart Programs.
- The Minimize Deep-Sky Planner feature is not supported with Redshift 8. Redshift 8 always receives focus on Show Chart.
- The Time & Location Warning feature is not supported with Redshift 8.
